We would like the ability to log an Email Message record on the Company Summary/Investor Account , Contact and Opportunity record when using LFG/LFO. Please note: any emails that gets logged to SF via the LFG/LFO will be logged as an Email Message record instead of a task.
Current limitation: when a user logs an Email Message via LFG to the Contact and Opportunity, the Email Message is logged onto the Contact and Company Summary/Investor Account. However, the Email Message does not get logged on the Opportunity record. If you click into the Email Message record that is logged on the Contact or Account/Company Summary, the Email Message's Related ID field will display the selected Opportunity name.
Ideal Solution: Trigger to log email on the selected Opportunity as well.
